REPAINTS
Once in a while I break out the Paint Shop and do a few repaints. Here are a few I'd thought I would share. Click the thumbnails to view the photos and the titles to download.
This is a P51D we used to fly in CFS1. It has stock CFS1 air files, but the body is a remake (this was Trypod's Reaper). I added a better panel (Thank you Padser) and a better sound file. You'll love the 'chirp' of the wheels when you touch down. It flies a bit hot in CFS2 so it is not intended for regular games, but it looks great and is fun to fly. The nose art is an actual copy and paste from a photo of a C130 I found. I only cut it out I did not modify it. This is a fictional repaint of a CAW_15 Pacific Theater land based fighter. This Download includes the sound file.
This is the plane I repainted into the Texas Twister. It was created for CFS1 and I have changed nothing from the original download taken from Simviation. I thought some of you would be curious to see the original version. The sound is aliased to the CFS1 P47. To fly in CFS2 remove the sound and copy and paste from another CFS2 aircraft. Credit for the original aircraft (this is a repaint by John Crouch) goes to Alan L'homme.
