Orkan is the Moniker I use in The Zone when I play Combat Flight Simulator 2. It is a German word meaning gale or hurricane. It comes from my casual interest in hurricanes. The size and power of these storms are fascinating.
I am a proud Member of Carrier Air wing 15 CAW15
A virtual online squadron based
on CAG15 that flew from the carrier USS Essex during World war II. We can
never repay them for their service, we can only
hope to honor these heroes.
I am currently the commanding officer of CAW15's Navy Squadron,
VF-9 "Fighting Nine". Though we are a military oriented group the
prime attraction is friendship and fun. We pride ourselves in teaching people to
